If you're like me a year or so ago, you have a closet, drawer, or storage box that contains tapes holding moments you can never get back — a first birthday, a wedding, a holiday with faces you miss. Every year that tape sits there, it degrades a little more.
Mozzcat Media Services was founded so that your memories can be seen again on your computer, or phone or other digital devices. We bring a careful, hands-on approach to video digitization so that what was once analog becomes something you can share with the people who matter most.
We are a local service — not a national mail-in warehouse. Every tape is handled personally, and every customer gets a real conversation, not a ticket number.
Audio Production
Before Mozzcat Media Services, there was the studio. Over more than four decades I worked in multiple professional recording environments and ran my own home studio for over ten years — recording, mixing, and mastering work for numerous artists alongside my own recordings.
That side of the work is now a formal part of what I offer: mixing, mastering, and on-site studio production at accessible rates. Independent artists deserve the same level of craft that professional studios provide — without a major-label budget to match.

We offer color correction, clarity improvement, scene splitting, and DVD-style menus — all tailored to your specific tapes.
What happens from the moment you drop off your tapes to delivery.
Every tape is physically inspected for mold, damage, or cassette defects. We check that it will play safely before loading it into any deck.
The tape is played in real time and captured at full resolution directly to our workstation. No quality is skipped or compressed during capture.
Based on your chosen package, we may apply color correction, clarity improvement, scene splitting, or scene-by-scene cleanup and adjustments.
Your files are named, organized into folders by tape, and reviewed before packaging.
Files are delivered on USB drive or by download link. We will notify you when everything is ready.
